Allegations: The client was charged in Monroe County Court with possession of a loaded firearm and possession of drugs with intent to sell. He was facing a mandatory prison sentence of 5 – 15 years if convicted.

Defense: We successfully argued at the hearing that the police did not perform a proper “inventory search” of our client’s vehicle and therefore the drugs were suppressed.

Result: The drugs were suppressed and that charge was dismissed after the hearing and before trial. Our client was found NOT GUILTY of the gun charge after trial.
